Ricki Perry - School Counselor

rperry@nelson.k12.va.us Mrs. Perry received her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas before completing her master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Virginia. Mrs. Perry is licensed in school counseling for grades PreK - 12, and she is a Nationally Certified Counselor. In addition to managing the Nelson Middle School Counseling Program, Mrs. Perry wears several hats at NMS, including Child Study Chair, 504 Coordinator and VTSS . Outside of work, Mrs. Perry enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, kayaking,and spending time with family.

This is accomplished through core curriculum classroom lessons, small groups, individual student planning, and responsive services that are reflective of the data derived about our students’ needs.
